On October 15, the MED13L community strides together, and we’re hoping you’ll be part of it. Walking, rolling, running, dancing, therapy steps, and stroller miles all move us forward. Whatever movement looks like for your family, it counts here. We’re moving to raise $20,000 for MED13L research, and your gift is what makes that research possible.
Why we’re moving
Could mitochondria hold a clue to treating MED13L Syndrome? That’s the question our next study chases. Researchers have found evidence of mitochondrial dysfunction in MED13L patient-derived cells, and the next step is to study patient-derived brain cells to understand what’s happening and look for treatments.
