Dr. Alicia Campbell graduated with a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rowan University (Rowan Virtua School of Translational Biomedical Engineering and Sciences). She is a passionate rare disease researcher and science communicator with a focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms behind neurodevelopmental disorders, including MED13L syndrome. Dr. Campbell brings a deep commitment to making science accessible and impactful for families. She collaborates closely with patient communities, clinicians, and advocacy organizations to bridge the gap between the lab bench and the lived experience of rare disease. Dr. Campbell also shares science content on social media (Instagram & TikTok) to help demystify complex genetics and empower families with knowledge.
